Gulf College (GC), Centro Franco Omanais (CFO) and the Persian Language Centre (PLC) have collaboratively launched the French and Persian language courses on the 22nd of October 2017 to benefit the internal and external clientele. With the aim to equip the students with multilinguistic and multicultural knowledge and skills, they have opened the gateway to more advantageous human pursuits in business, education and personal development. GC Centre for Languages and Cultural Studies Manager, Dr. Irene Pineda Villareal works closely with CFO French Instructor, Mr. Hassan Al Ramadhani and PLC Persian Instructor, Ms. Marzieh Moghadas in the delivery of French and Persian language courses. It is worth mentioning that the clients hold positions as Senior Manager for Administration and Corporate Affairs at the Port of Duqm, Customer Service Supervisor at Oman Air, Senior Staff Member in the Sales Department of Oreedoo, and Researcher at Sultan Qaboos University. One client is a Master in Law and still another works in DIWAN. GC’s centre manager, quality assurance coordinator, faculty administrator and lecturer have joined the batch. This culturally diversified group of Omanis, Americans, Filipinos, Iranian, and Sudanese is on the beat to make its social impact in the global community. Vital learning sessions at Gulf College are held on Sundays and Tuesdays from 4:30pm to 6:30pm in S3 for French and from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in S4 for Farsi. Few seats are still available for individuals who want to put a competitive edge on their qualifications.
