GC Holds a Research Seminar on Cognitive Science

A research seminar titled “An Introduction to Cognitive Science” was held on Thursday, 10/03/2022, from 12:00-1:00 pm. The online seminar was hosted by Prof. Reza Pishghadam, a professor of language education and a professor by courtesy of educational psychology at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran. Prof. Pishghadam is currently an honorary academic member at Kufa University, Iraq, and a consultant at Gulf College. He is also the founder and editor-in-chief of the international journal of SCL (Scopus, Q2).  

Cognitive science, as an interdisciplinary field of study, deals with the interface of the brain and other sciences. By using the potential of the brain and its simulation, researchers attempt to open new horizons and areas of research, which can contribute to a better life and society.
