About the centre

The centre was established in line with the mission and vision of the college to build mutually benefit relationships with community and industry. The centre consists of three units, namely Training Department, Community and Industry Relations Department, and Pearson Examinations. These relationships to enhance student learning activities; To determine the nature of the graduates’ needs of industrial enterprises and employers and to provide opportunities for students and employees to interact with industrial institutions and employers.

Our Objectives

  •  To establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with industries, employers, community, professions, professional bodies and education providers;
  • To offer training/professional courses for staff members, students and community at large;
  • To identify potential market segments for offering various customised training courses;
  • To promote staff members and students’ participation in community services;
  • To support staff members in identifying the areas for collaboration with the industries/education providers and the opportunities for sharing their expertise; and
  • To collaborate with employers in identifying job market requirements.
