Dr. Agustin is a veteran lecturer with over 2 decades of experience teaching students in Basic Education, Undergraduate, and Graduate levels. Clubbed with his academic background, he has industry experience in the fields of manufacturing, construction, and cooperation societies, which made him a versatile and practical educator. He is adept in handling modules related to Management, Marketing, Operations, Accounting and Bookkeeping, Finance, Personnel, Human Resources, Business Law, and Office Applications courses.

Before joining Gulf College, he held key administrative positions at the State College (ISPSC) in the Philippines.  Dr. Agustin has played a key role in the accreditation of various programs particularly in the field of Business and Entrepreneurship. He is a certified assessor and trainer of the Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in the Philippines for Bookkeeping, Computer Hardware Servicing, and Office Applications. Dr. Agustin is also a registered professional teacher in the Philippines and a research enthusiast. His areas of research interest are in the fields of Internal Control Systems, Marketing, and Management.

Dr. Agustin is a Doctor of Philosophy in Management, Master in Business Administration, and Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. He is dedicated to enhancing his teaching skills and continuously attends training courses and workshops that enrich his knowledge and skills in discharging his duties effectively and efficiently.

Dr. Agustin teaches modules in Business Operations and Improvement, Business Obligations, Business in Action, Management in Contemporary Organisations, Contemporary Management Issues, Project, Strategic Management, and Managing Organisations in the Faculty.

Concurrently, Dr. Agustin serves as a shadow teacher and academic advisor alongside the lead lecturers of CMET in the MBA programme offered by the College in academic affiliation with the Cardiff Metropolitan University in the UK. Dr. Agustin joined the rooster of educators at Gulf College in April 2015.
