Short Bio:

Dr. Joseph B. Cuarteros is an Associate Professor and Quality Assurance Officer at Gulf College. He has been teaching for more than 17 years in higher education. The last eight years has been in Oman, three years in the Kingdom of Bahrain and seven years in the Philippines. He obtained his PhD in Development Education, Master of Arts in English and Bachelor of Secondary Education in English, all at the Cagayan State University, Philippines.
He is also an external reviewer at Oman Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAA) since October 2017. He has published research papers in different international refereed journals and presented research papers in various international conferences in Bahrain, Lebanon, UAE, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Philippines. He is also a reviewer in various international refereed journals and paper presentations both local and international. In addition to this, he is also a certified Internal Auditor- ISO 9001:2008.
To date, he has published research papers in various international refereed journals. He has also presented research papers in national and international conferences in Bahrain, Lebanon, UAE, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Philippines. In addition, he is also a reviewer for a number of international refereed journals and a member of various professional bodies. He has attended various seminars and training workshops on instruction, quality assurance, research and curriculum development.
