Short Bio:

Dr. Leo is a lecturer in English and teaches students at Level 3 and 4 in the faculty. He has more than a decade of teaching experience that he has garnered from working in private and government sector colleges and universities, in Philippines and in Oman. He is an expert in teaching English as a second language to students from non-English speaking countries. He is proficient at Applied Linguistics, Psycholinguistic, Theoretical Linguistics, Grammar, writing, Speaking Reading, Listening Technical Writing and Academic Study Skills.

He is a Ph.D. specialized in Development Education,  and MA in Education. he completed his Bachelor of Secondary Education with major in English, from Isabela State University in Philippines. He is the proud recipient of ‘Model Achiever Awardee for Education’ in 2005 and ‘Model Achiever Awardee for English Language and Research Methodology’ in 2007 from Asia Pacific Consumer Awards, Philippines. He is a certified TESOL and TEFL teacher (i.e. Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages & Teaching English as a Foreign Language).

Dr. Leo believes linguistic competence is an essential skill in today’s globalized market. He strives to horn intellectual, academic and professional skills in students to enable them communicate efficiently in English. He is dedicated, committed and approachable by nature and is always happy to guide his students.
