Short Bio:

Dr. Malik is a young and enthusiastic Lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Management Studies. Prior to joining Gulf College, he worked as a lecturer at Al Madinah International University in Malaysia.

Dr. Malik is a PhD with specialisation in Visual Informatics from University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), He completed his MSc. in Information Technology from University Utara Malaysia, Malaysia and Bachelors in Computer Science from Al Al-Bayt University. He has co-written a research paper related to Design of Vibratory Haptic Interface Model (VHIM) and Validation the Vibratory Haptic Interface Model.

His areas of research interest are virtual reality, internet of things, mobile banking and commerce and knowledge management. He is currently working on a research that aims to identify factors that impact adoption of mobile banking in Oman.

Dr. Malik teaches Introduction to Information System, Information technology in Business and Business Applications in the faculty.
