Reza Pishghadam, distinguished for his scholarly achievements and recognized as a highly cited scholar by the ISC, is a professor of language education and formerly held a courtesy professorship in educational psychology at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM). During his academic endeavors, he founded the Cognition & Sensory Emotion Lab at FUM in 2019. Over the past decade, he has authored more than 150 articles and books and has presented at over 30 national and international conferences. In 2007, he was appointed as a member of Iran’s National Foundation of Elites. Recognized for his scholarly contributions, he was named the distinguished researcher in humanities in Iran in 2010 and was honored with the Distinguished Professor award by the Ferdowsi Academic Foundation in 2014. In 2017, he was awarded the title of the Best Professor of the Year at FUM, and in 2019, he received the FUM award for teaching excellence. He served as the Vice Dean for Research and Technology at the Faculty of Letters and Humanities from 2014 to 2017, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs from 2017 to 2018, and the Vice President for Academic Affairs from 2018 to 2022 at FUM. Additionally, he has served as the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Society, Culture, and Language (IJSCL), the Journal of Language and Translation Studies (JLTS), and the Journal of Cognition, Emotion, and Education (ceejournal).
