Short Bio:

Ms. Faiza is one of the senior lecturers in the Faculty of Business & Management Studies. She joined Gulf College in 2012 and handles modules such as Contemporary Issues in International Political Economy, Work experience with PDP, International Corporate Finance, and Introduction to Econometrics, to name but a few. She is a seasoned academician with 18 years of experience. Before joining Gulf College, she worked as teaching faculty in Al Hilal Educational Institute, Sharjah, Al Khair University, Pakistan, and Pakistan School, Muscat.  Her research interest is in Islamic finance and she has published articles in international journals. She is a peer observer at the MoHERI Oman. She achieved the “Best Paper Award” at Al Mussanah College of Technology. She is a recipient of the “Academic Excellence Award” for three consecutive years at Gulf College. She is also a certified assessor for His Majesty Industrial Excellence award conducted by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry since 2015. Ms. Faiza has completed her MBA in Marketing from Graduate School of Management and Computer Sciences, MA in Economics from the University of Karachi, and Bachelor of Commerce (Advance Accounting and Auditing), from University of the Punjab. she is currently pursuing her doctorate in the field of Economics and Muamalaad administration at the University Sainse Islam, Malaysia
