Prof. Dr. Abbas Fadhil Aljuboori is a Full Professor of Computing Sciences at Gulf College, Muscat, Oman, and an internationally recognized academic and researcher in artificial intelligence, big data analytics, cyber security, and information systems. He earned his Ph.D. in Information Systems, Big Data Mining and Artificial Intelligence from Dongguk University, South Korea.

Prof. Dr. Abbas Fadhil Aljuboori has held several senior academic and leadership roles, including Vice President for Administrative, Financial and Legal Affairs and Head of the Smart Cities Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications in Iraq, as well as Vice President of the Iraqi Universities Accreditation and Quality Assurance Council for Computer Science and IT. He is also a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the University of Central Oklahoma, USA.

Prof. Aljuboori actively contributes to higher education and research development in the region as an expert in IT and cybercrimes for the Ministry of Justice in Oman and as an expert in artificial intelligence programs for the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Innovation. His research focuses on practical and societal applications of artificial intelligence, data analytics, digital transformation and smart systems, and he has supervised a large number of postgraduate students and served on international journal editorial boards and conference committees worldwide.
