Any organisation that uses data needs data analysts to make investment decisions, assess risks, perform market or product analysis, target customers, or make capital allocation decisions. Data analysts probe large volumes of data to spot trends, make forecasts, and processed information to find patterns that will benefit an organization and extract information to help managers and business owners make sound business decisions. They can be seen in big investment banks, equity firms, large insurance companies, credit bureaus, technology firms, and in almost any industry in the world.
