Alaa Ismat Al-Attili

Ms. Alaa Al-Attili has an MSc. in Computer Science and around twenty years of experience in higher education. Her involvement in quality assurance in higher education started in 2007. She held the position of Head of the Quality Assurance Department for more than seven years. Her experience encompasses her role as a Lecturer at multiple higher education institutions. She participated in developing academic subjects and curriculums in HEIs where she had worked, in addition to conducting seminars and workshops to promote and reinforce quality assurance. Moreover, she has co-authored papers related to IT, quality assurance in higher education, and pedagogy in peer-reviewed journals. Ms. Al-Attili is also an external reviewer with the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation in Oman to evaluate academic programmes in the field of IT, a former member of the Board of Directors of Oman Association for Quality in Higher Education (OAQHE) and an external reviewer with Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA).
