Gulf College held the first BCT Journal Management Committee Review Meeting for 2025 on Thursday, 6 March, focusing on the journal’s performance, editorial impact, and strategic direction.
Prof. Taqi Al Abdwani opened the meeting by outlining key objectives, followed by Prof. Reza Pishghadam, who reviewed past achievements, citation impact, and the efficiency of the review process. The committee discussed the journal’s indexing status and set a three-year strategic plan to enhance operations, increase recognition in major academic databases, and establish an international conference.
A detailed action plan was agreed upon, defining key responsibilities and review milestones. The meeting concluded with remarks from Prof. Taqi Al Abdwani and Prof. Ali Al Badi, reaffirming the commitment to strengthening the journal’s global impact. The next review meeting will be scheduled to assess progress.
