Dr. Muhammad Shahzad holds a Ph.D. in Computer Algorithms from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), Malaysia. He earned an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, and a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Allama Iqbal Open University, Pakistan. He also completed a Diploma in Computer Hardware (DCH) from the Punjab Board of Technical Education, where he secured first position at the provincial level. He began his academic career in Pakistan as a Visiting Lecturer, teaching undergraduate BCS courses, including Compiler Construction and Analysis and Design of Algorithms. In 2008, he joined Pakistan School Muscat, Oman, as a Senior Computer Teacher, where he taught O-Level and A-Level Computer Science under the Cambridge and Edexcel curricula, and later served as Head of the Computer Science Department. Since 2012, Dr. Shahzad has been serving as a Lecturer in Computing Sciences at Gulf College, Oman. His teaching and professional expertise include object-oriented programming, algorithm design, and software engineering, with strong proficiency in python, C++, Java, and C#. His research interests are focused on algorithmic graph theory, with particular emphasis on edge irregularity strength. He has published research articles in reputable journals and remains actively engaged in academic research and e-learning development.
