Short Bio:

Dr. Petcharat joined Gulf College in 2017 as a Lecturer. Prior to joining Gulf College, she worked as an Assistant Professor in the Graduate School of Management, Sriptum University, Thailand. She has 15 years’ experience in the profession of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.  Her areas of specialisation are in Management Accounting, Financial Accounting and Sustainability Accounting.

Dr. Petcharat is a PhD in Accountancy from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. she completed her Masters and Bachelors in accounting from Sripatum University, Thailand

Dr. Petcharat is a fervent researcher and has successfully published in a number of international journals. She has attended Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ) Conference, focused on areas of Accounting and Sustainability Reporting. Her publications have been listed in Australian Excellent Research (ERA) and cited in Google Scholar. She currently serves as a reviewer in the Journal of Accounting & Organizational Change, Australia and Journal of Business Administration in Thailand. Her areas of research interest are in the field of Cost accounting, management accounting, financial accounting, sustainability accounting, and sustainability report.

Dr. Petcharat teaches Personal finance, Financial Accounting, Financial Services: Regulations and Ethics in Oman, Money banking and Risk, Investment market and principles, Investment Management, and Research methods in the faculty.
