Short Bio:

Professor Mark M. H. Goode has recently joined the visiting staff at Gulf College, my areas of specialism are Digital Marketing, General Marketing, Strategic Management, Operation Management, the Application of New Technology and Statistics.  Mark has been teaching in UK Universities for over 35 years and has taught over 35,000 University students at all levels (from undergraduate year 1 to PhD).  Furthermore, Mark has taught at Gulf College over the last four years on the part-time MBA course.  He is now working with senior Gulf College staff on developing professional courses at Gulf College.

Mark has two degrees in Economics and a PhD by published works in Digital Marketing.  He has written over 40 journal articles, books and over 50 conference papers, based around consumer satisfaction and loyalty, consumer behaviour on the Internet and the application of new statistical and mathematical models to consumer behaviour.  Mark has published extensively including the journals: – OMEGA, Journal of Services Marketing, Journal of International Consumer Marketing, The Journal of Professional Services Marketing, Journal of Services Marketing Quarterly, The Journal of Consumer Behaviour: An International Review, the Journal of Marketing Management, European Journal of Marketing and the highly prestige US Journal of Retailing.

Mark has worked extensively with industry/government and undertaken over half a million UK pounds of external consultancy with the various Universities he has worked for, Mark is also a Chartered Manager with the Chartered institute of Management their highest award.  Mark has taught on a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses as well as supervising over 250 dissertations.  In addition to my normal lecturing duties, I have designed or re-designed numerous courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level.  These courses have been well received by students as gauged by the staff student evaluation exercise.  While at Swansea University and then at Cardiff Metropolitan University Mark designed and successfully ran their Executive MBA programmes for over 10 years.  Finally, Mark won the distinguished teaching award for the whole of Swansea University in 2008.

Mark now has his own company and works free-lance for four different Universities as a guest lecturer.
